Sara Ruddick - February 17, 1935 – March 20, 2011
Born Sara Elizabeth Loop, known as Sally by family and friends.

In addition to a Memorial Booklet and a program and tape of the October Memorial Gathering, there are  on this website other tributes, family photos, New School course descriptions, and a selection of Sally’s published essays.   In time I hope to add talks at memorial panels on Sally’s work,  as well as further reflections on her life and writings  and e-mail exchanges others might wish to add (ruddick.sara@gmail.com or wr2@nyu.edu).   In short, I hope this will become a living memorial in which we keep Sally with us in the only way now left to us.
